Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using DocFast ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Description of Service

DocFast is a web-based documentation platform that allows users to create, organize, and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other documentation. The Service provides tools for creating hierarchical documentation structures, rich text editing, and collaborative features.

User Accounts and Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Ensuring that all information you provide is accurate and current
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Service

User Content and Intellectual Property

You retain all ownership rights to the content you create and upload to DocFast. By using the Service, you grant DocFast a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You agree that you will not upload, post, or transmit any content that:

  • Violates any law, regulation, or third-party right
  • Is defamatory, libelous, or harassing
  • Contains viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
  • Is illegal, harmful, or offensive

Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOCFAST, ITS AFFILIATES, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
  • Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through the Service
  • Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the Service
  • Any user content or conduct of third parties on the Service

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DocFast, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from: (i) your use of and access to the Service; (ii) your violation of any term of these Terms; (iii) your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right; or (iv) any claim that your content caused damage to a third party.

Service Availability and Modifications

DocFast reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

Data Backup and Loss

While we strive to maintain the security and availability of your data, you are responsible for maintaining backups of your content. DocFast shall not be liable for any loss of data, content, or information resulting from the use of the Service, including but not limited to system failures, data corruption, or accidental deletion.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
